LTM are pleased to announce the release of a long-lost soundtrack album by Winston Tong the cult performance artist who made his name as a member of the group Tuxedomoon. Miserere (Mercy) was composed in 1985 for a modern ballet of the same name staged by Belgian choreographer Pierre Droulers based on the myth of Orpheus & Eurydice. The lyrics were written by Tong & the music a collaboration with celebrated Persian-born dancer & vocalist Sussan Deyhim. Miserere is remarkable in.

Miserere ("Mercy"), subtitled Les Reflets D'Orphee et D'Eurydice, comprises lyrics and music written for the choreography of a performance directed by Pierre Droulers. A modern ballet based on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, the production was first staged at Festival de Marais, Paris, in 1985, and featured Tong, Deyihim, Adriana Borriello, Kazuya Sato and Pierre Droulers. Miserere was alsosubsequently performed at the Festival de Seine-Maritime and Festival de Chateauvallon. The soundtrack was recorded at Daylight Studio, Brussels in 1984. Technical note: the short buzz starting at 2.30 on track 7 is present on the original analogue tape and could not be eliminated for this remaster. Similarly the edits at the beginning of track 6 are presemt on the original recording. Winston Tong is published by Copyright Control.
