If you've read anything about this soul music legend, even though Beaver was an accomplished songwriter very much in demand (you can read elsewhere about the songs that he wrote that were hits for other artists), his own recorded output was meager, at least in the sense that the vast majority of the songs that he recorded were never released by the labels that he worked for.
