Description:
'When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold' was originally released in 2008 and was met with critical acclaim (debuted #5 on BIllboard chart). Atmosphere had already grown into one of the most accomplished MC/producer duos in independent Hip-Hop, with 7 full length and a couple limited tour albums under their belt and various side projects, they have over a million units sold. While Ant's beats had grown increasingly melodic and musical, Slug's name had become synomymous with introspective raps and together they gained a faithful following. The thing that sets this album apart was that it reflected a shift in the songwriting process. They transitioned from self-reflective to broadly narrative. This album is entirely based on fictional stories, adressing societal issues. In honor of it's tenth anniversary this album has been re-packaged into two LP editions. - LIMITED YELLOW VINYL
