Vor allem im beschaulichen Malkow im Herzen der DDR geht alles seinen sozialistischen Gang. Zumindest scheinbar. Im Verborgenen arbeitet die zehnjährige Rike mit ihren Freunden Fabian und Jonathan an einer spektakulären Erfindung, die die Welt verändern, vor allem aber Onkel Mike aus West-Berlin zurück in den Osten beamen soll. Inspiriert durch ihre Lieblingsserie Raumschiff Interspace bauen sie einen TelHerbst 1989: Niemand ahnt, dass die letzten Tage eines
kleinen Landes längst gezählt sind. Vor allem im
beschaulichen Malkow im Herzen der DDR geht alles seinen
sozialistischen Gang. Zumindest scheinbar.
Im Verborgenen arbeitet die zehnjährige Rike mit ihren
Freunden Fabian und Jonathan an einer spektakulären
Erfindung, die die Welt verändern, vor allem aber Onkel
Mike aus West-Berlin zurück in den Osten beamen soll.
Inspiriert durch ihre Lieblingsserie Raumschiff Interspace
bauen sie einen Teleporter. Was die Drei nicht ahnen:
Rikes Eltern (Yvonne Catterfeld und Maxim Mehmet)
überlegen selbst, rüberzumachen. Und der linientreue
Volkspolizist Mauder (Devid Striesow) ist den
erfinderischen Quertreibern auch schon auf der Spur.
Die Lage spitzt sich dramatisch zu, als das Experiment am
9. November 1989 einen ungeahnten Verlauf nimmt: Nicht
Mike landet in Malkow, sondern die gesamte Dorfbevölkerung
