Silent Cries For Help is an album by Lachaise, released in 2008. The album is a heavy metal CD. -

At last.....the debut album for LACHAISE titled "Silent Cries for Help". The name of the band comes from the famous graveyard in Paris, le Cimetiere du Père Lachaise, where many artists, for exemple Jim Morrison, are buried. Lachaise's music, all original, goes out from the usual bounds of gothic-rock to explore new ambients sometimes close to pop and sometimes progressive like in the instrumental intros and outros. Even if Lachaise are not inventing a new kind of music, the talent of the young female singer - and her special grace in singing - and the skillful musicians - give a special grace to "Silent cries for help", an album that can be appreciated both by Evanescence fans as well as Lacuna Coil's and Within Temptation's followers. Another big point is the freshness of the songs, that may be called ingenuity sometimes... in fact they tried to avoid all the cold perfectionism of the studio electronic tricks and adjustment to give, at last, a REAL feeling of a playing band. LACHAISE have been choosen as opening performance for Christian Death's Italian tour.
