What can I say? The Japanese are great fellows, sometimes. And this is exactly the that case. I have not heard the best sound of this strange record. It looks like Janice's technical staff put it all on the shoulders of her voice and name. Before this release, I did not dare to purchase this album for my collection, being content with Kozmik and Pearl. Ra-ra-ra, tzi-tzi-tzi - and the Japanese are great!

Joplin was an unhappy mess of a person but often that makes a superb artist, sadly she died of an overdose far too early and this album is a fitting tribute to her immense talent . Highly recommended
