Halford's is a uniquely American voice, authentic and timeless. Bruce Kaphan, longtime guitarist and producer of American Music Club, co-produced the album with Halford. Jeffrey also brought in the legendary Texas Music Hall of Famer Augie Meyers on keyboard, as well as Louisiana's own Kirk 'Jellyroll' Johnson on harmonica to assure that grooves would be raucous and greasy.
