Description:

Already a sensation in her native Italy singer Vanessa Tagliabue Yorke made her American debut at the Tribute to Bix Beiderbecke Festival in Racine Wisconsin in 2012. Backed by an all-star group including Dalton Ride hour (piano) Andy Schumm (cornet) Dave Bock (trombone) John Otto (clarinet) Josh Duffee (drums) and others she mesmerized the crowd with her powerful renditions of songs of the 1920's '30's and '40's like Blue River, Thou Swell, the Very Thought of You, Black Bottom, Petite Fleur, Them There Eyes, and others. Fortunately Rivermont Records was on hand recording and this CD is the result of that remarkable live set capturing all the excitement and superb music. 63 minutes.
