A little more than a year after "The People's Republic Of The Baboon Show Formerly Known As Sweden" the already sixth studio album with the short concise name "DAMNATION" will be released at the end of March. 10 new songs, straight punk rock in the very best Baboon Show manner. In many places less playful than the predecessor, punk has again gained the upper hand and the pure rock elements have receded somewhat into the background. And let's face it, with this the band has landed exactly in the area they do best. The album was produced one more time by Pelle Gunnerfeldt (The Hives, Randy) and he conjured a really wonderful garage sound for the band. Raw, noisy and honest. In short, with this album the Swedes celebrate 10 years of Baboon Show punk rock and maybe they are better than ever. -
