This version of Habitat comes as a 1xCD in a(n) Digipak packaging. - Credits:
Cover artwork Mystieke Paden and 'tree-deer-hammer' by Gust van de Wall Perné (1877-1911). All music in written and arranged by Alvenrad except for the melody line after the second refrain of 1911; here the main motive of the seventh symphony from Gustav Mahler (1860-1911) is adapted. Arrangements by Jasper Strik & Mark Kwint. Orchestrations by Jasper Strik. Bass lines are written by Arjan Hoekstra with Alvenrad. Lyrics written by Mark Kwint except for the two lines of O Patrones sung by Jasper Strik, he wrote them himself. English translations by Hanna van Gorcum. Cover design, layout and photographs by Thor Joakimsson.
Habitat was recorded at Folkrocker Studio in the years '12 and '13. Re-amping of guitars at MilkMark Recording Studio in June '13 by Jeffrey Revet and Jasper Strik. Some reverbs used were recorded by Jasper Strik & Mark Kwint at Het Loo Royal Estate. Engineered and produced by Alvenrad. Mixed by Jasper Strik. Mastered by Klangschmiede Studio E by Markus Stock.
