Lossleader is an album by Eight Rounds Rapid, released in 2021. The album is a rock CD. -

2014 debut album from the UK indie band who channel the fervor of Dr Feelgood, Wire, Gang of Four & P.I.L. with their gritty tales of the Essex underworld. The band gained attention when they supported Wilko Johnson on his 2013 UK Farewell Tour. The band's songs are rooted in traditional blues, but guitar from Simon Johnson (Wilko's son) & singer David Alexander's acerbic delivery make the act sound like Captain Beefheart, John Cooper Clarke and Mark E Smith jamming in a South end bus depot. This uncompromising style, subversive like a Charles Bukowski novel, never fails to divide audiences & win the band devoted fans. Cadiz.
