Description:2011 collection that celebrates a century of protest, revolt and despair. Includes the first appearance on CD of the peace anthem 'H-Bomb's Thunder', newly-arranged by Lancashire duo Creeping Bentgrass, an explosive new version of 'Eve of Destruction' by Detroit rockers the Shy, and the CD debut of the internet hit 'We Don't Want Your War', by Californian Jynkz. The earliest track is the Irish nationalist anthem 'A Nation Once Again', taken from a wax cylinder recording by tenor John McCormack. The album is brought up to date by the song that unites the 21st Century Iranian freedom campaigners. It also features the earliest known recording of 'We Shall Overcome' from 1953.
