Marco M. - 18/Jun/2015 5 of 5 Stars!
I'm not a big lover of digipak and I miss the old strong simple double cd jewel case editions but when one must speak of an album of this level, one wants to go straight to what counts: sound quality and in this case a second bonus cd giving space to the creative and unstoppable soul of David De Feis. that's the reissue of an heavy metal masterpiece where inspiration, lyric and heavy metal style meet around the table of a perfect Equilibrium. Miles far from the exagerations of Manowar, Virgin Steele moved their career on a "roaring" (to use a term dear to David:))but at same time deeper, more personal and "reserved" path. Tjhey break the "law" but in a more personal (romantic barbaric) way I've Always loved. Here we have a mix between classic heavy metal and an istintive rich love for the Ancient intended as "common roots of all souls". This is what you should feel approaching to a complete experience of songs like Invictus, Veni Vidi Vici , sword of the Gods, Mnd body spirit, to mark the best ones from an all great album, logical and spontaneous Brother of the two other MAsterpieces related to the House of Atreus. This edition come as said with a bonus disc and a rich set of footage plus a big note written by De Feis. Buy it, consume it, listen it for life.
