 | Description: | Digitally remastered and expanded of the 15th studio album from the British Hard Rock band. Following the departure of founder member Ritchie Blackmore during the 1993 tour to support THE BATTLE RAGES ON, the band would eventually find a more permanent and less temperamental axe-slinger in the shape of former Dixie Dregs guitarist Steve Morse. Originally released in 1996, and with all songs credited to all five band members - Jon Lord on keyboards, Ian Paice on drums, singer Ian Gillan and Roger Glover on bass guitar - guitarist Morse certainly makes his mark on this guitar orientated, and often quite experimental record. Tracks such as 'Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming' and 'Vavoom: Ted the Mechanic' would soon become mainstays of Deep Purple's live set. Also included on this edition is the Japan bonus track 'Don't Hold Your Breath' plus the single edit of 'Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming'.Issued in a trifold digipak with 16-page booklet.
Total playing time: 71:48.

Moore & Son for supplying the very grand piano; to everyone at Pearl Drums, Paiste Cymbals and Pro-mark sticks; to Stuart Wickes; John Stillwell at Dawk Sound; Angela Malizia and Betty Hance; Mark Zuckerman and Jerry Gold; Keith Gordon and Martin Taylor, Julie Nives and Dick Rao; Neil Warnok at The Agency; Kathy and Dawn at Budget Rent-A-Car, Orlando, and to Karen and all the gangette at Club Esprit, Altamonte Springs, for magically producing all those apartments. Finally Ian, Roger, Jon and Ian would like to thank Joe Satriani for his great help while they were crossing that bridge, and Steve Morse for gloriously helping them to rediscover what was over that bridge.
