Lemar first came to the world's attention on the competition/reality show Fame Academy. Singer Beverley Knight saw his potential and invited him to perform a duet with her during a concert that was attended by key A&R people at Sony Music, who promptly signed him to a multi-year contract. He also won his first Brit Award in 2004 as Best Urban Act. This debut album features the singles "Dance (With U)," "50/50" and "Another Day".
