2014 release from Chicago-based Footwork pioneer Cornelius Ferguson. DA MIND OF Traxman VOL. 2 follows 2012's first volume of the same name, and more recently, last year's Teklife Vol. 3: The Architek. Where those two albums saw Ferguson slicing and chopping the usual slew of R&B and hip-hop samples for his beats, this one is reportedly more stripped down, each track made with just a sample or two 'diced into brain-blurring cubist puzzles that bear little relation to their original sources.' the press release goes on to compare the record's obsessive intricacy to microhouse, citing SND and Kraftwerk as other reference points.
