Into The Matrix (1983-84) by Bride, released 24 April 2014, includes the following tracks: "Get Away", "Stand Up And Shout", "Spell House", "Heroes" and more. This version of Into The Matrix (1983-84) comes as a 1xCD. - LIMITED EDITION

Their big break came in 1985 when they opened a show in Pottstown, PA for Christian hard rockers, Daniel Band. Pure Metal Records/Refuge Music Group saw the performance and signed them to a contract that would begin a marvelous and diverse career as leaders in the Christian hard music scene for decades to come. The songs that appear on this disc are from the recordings of PG-13 & Monkey See, Monkey Do. Both were cassette only releases. Some of these tracks would go on to be re-recorded and used on future Bride releases. These are the original tracks, as recorded by Matrix in 1983 and 1984. This 2014 Retroactive Records reissue comes in a full color 4-panel digipak, completely remastered by the ultimate mastering guru, J Powell at Steinhaus. Never before have these songs been heard with the warmth, depth, and sheer grit that now exudes off of this top notch classic reissue. This is a collection of some of the demo recordings of the band Matrix before they changed their name to Bride. Originally released independently in 1994 as [r13055362]. According to the insert of the original Matrix 1983-1984: "The songs that appear on this CD are from the Recording of PG-13, Monkey See Monkey Do. The song I Can Fly Now, was cut from the first Bride Record." Tracks 1 - 8 are from the Matrix demo PG13. Tracks 9 - 18 are from the Matrix demo Monkey See, Monkey Do. The Matrix release Silent Madness also has a track called 'Melissa', but that is not this recording. The origin of this version of 'Melissa' is [r15251927].
