The Strugglers consist of songwriter Brice Randall Bickford II and a rotating cast of musicians who make their home in Carrboro, NC. Their third full-length, You Win, weaves themes of success, failure and anti-climax in it's examination of the psychology of desire. Committed to tape by veteran engineer Jerry Kee (Superchunk, Polvo, and the Mendoza Line), You Win will be released by celebrated European record label Acuarela Discos. The Strugglers have shared the stage with such bands as Magnolia Electric Co., the Mountain Goats, and the Circulatory System. In February of 2005, Bickford toured Spain and Portugal with Acuarela label-mates Destroyer. 2005.
