"Redeemer of Souls" I heard, perhaps, not earlier than the end of 2015. For a long time, I did not want to listen to Judas Priest's new material against the backdrop of the "successful" albums "Nostradamus", "Angel of Retribution" and "Demolition". However, after listening carefully to the "Savior Redeemer" completely, I was very pleased with the work. Firstly, the arrangements of almost all the compositions are carefully thought out (there is no complete certainty only about the song "Metalizer", as it seems to me, it lacks a little melody), which the previous three works really lacked. Secondly, Halford's age is practically not felt on the record - he sang all the songs very well. Thirdly, the new British guitarist Richard Faulkner did not disappoint on the recordings and became a worthy replacement for Ken Downing, who left the band on April 20, 2011. And finally, the album has a pretty good sound (although it may be better). The drums were recorded very clearly (which the "Jugulator" album really lacked), and the drummer Scott Travis’s game itself was great. The album was brought together not only by Glenn Tipton, but also by guest producer Mike Exeter, which paid off. Tipton again did not forget about synthesizer guitars, but, it seems to me, here they are by the way. Another advantage of this album is that the album has a lot of melodic songs and they are not prolonged. But there are some minor disadvantages. Some lengthy album. 62 minutes, in my opinion, a bit much. Exclude "Metalizer", which lacks clarity and melody, as well as "Dragonaut", and the album would be almost perfect. Bassist Jan Hill is hard to hear in many songs. Perhaps "Redeemer of Souls" is not a classic, but the work is undeniably high quality. It’s nice to know that Judas Priest musicians don’t get old. This album convinced me of this. Of the 13 songs, I was especially impressed with "Redeemer of Souls", "Halls of Valhalla", which has an amazing heroic introduction (I love melodies that have a heroic mood!), "Sword of Damocles", "Down in Flames" ( perhaps one of the best songs of the group for all its existence), "Cold Blooded", "Crossfire" and "Battle Cry" (this song, I think, was put in vain at the end of the album). There are typical “Priest” songs here, like “March of the Damned” and “Cold Blooded” (which I already mentioned). The design of the album cover and its internal content is also commendable. There are bright colors that pleases the eye, and the drawing itself does not turn out to be a bad language (better than the design of all the albums of the Nine Inch Nails group, which generally do not understand what is depicted). This album is good or bad, everyone will decide for himself. Personally, I singing Halford and playing other musicians on "Redeemer of Souls" evoked only positive emotions.

REALLY NICE COVER ART! Few killer tracks, but there are so many songs that its hard to listen the whole album. But in general is it definately worth buying!
