Description:	Sebastian Schumann (Heinz Rühmann) ist Angestellter einer mittelständischen Firma. Seit seine Frau ihn verlassen hat, ist er alleinerziehend und muss sich um seine achtjährige Tochter Nicky (Julia Follina) kümmern. Um das Kind nicht mit seinen alltäglichen Problemen zu belasten, lässt er es in dem Glauben, die Mutter sei nun ein Engel im Himmel.
