The album will be available June 1, 2013 on iTunes and through CaryMorin. Com. Morin was born in 1962 in Billings, Mont. , and spent his childhood in Great Falls before relocating to Colorado. His music career was launched in 1989 when Morin founded The Atoll, a band that toured nationally and boasted a unique, electrified world groove. Morin has continued to play with The Atoll since 1989, and also currently plays with the Pura Fe Trio and as a solo artist. Tim Duffy, president of Music Maker Relief Foundation, describes Morin as "a brilliant guitarist, heartfelt songwriter and soulful singer whose music gives us pause to reflect on life's greatest rewards. " As a tribute to popular icons of the 20th and early 21st century, Fort Collins, Colo. , has recently created a mural in a Fort Collins alleyway in celebration of local musicians, including Morin.
