Description:Ways Of Yore by Burzum, released 29 May 2014, includes the following tracks: "Heill Odinn", "The Coming Of Ettins", "Heil Freyja", "Ek Fellr (i Am Falling)" and more. This version of Ways Of Yore comes as a 1xCD. - HAUNTING STORY TELLING/DISTINCT VOCALS/MUSICAL GENIUS
2014 release, the 12th album from controversial Norwegian Black Metal act. THE WAYS OF YORE is similar in style to Burzum's pervious ambient albums, but differ in both style and vocal expression. A mix of haunting story telling channeled through distinct vocals combined with Burzum musical genius makes THE WAYS OF YORE a very interesting and innovative sounding album with mass appeal to Burzum fans. Inspired by Burzum's in-depth knowledge of our European history and evolution, the album is a continuation of his work to explore our Forebears and to explain our human evolution. Burzum says of the album: 'THE WAYS OF YORE is my first step towards something new, which at the same time is as old as the roots of Europe. With THE WAYS OF YORE I try to transport the listener to the days of yore, to make them feel the past, that is still alive in their own blood.'

The album does not cause any associations, no emotions, it just litter the brain with its primitiveness, monotony and avarice. After a full listening, you begin to wonder if such primitiveness really causes such emotions in people? Similarly, the mouse flicked and the wind whistled and you can already start, what melancholy, what interesting and varied music, well, just a balm for the soul. There is no point in writing more of this creation, it is intended exclusively for “stubborn” Burzum fans.
