This album is closer in style and sound to their earlier albums than the Power Within. The band seems to be more confident in the lead singer and took full advantage of his vocal range and power.

Great album. I never skip a song in Maximum Overload cause they're all just amazing. You won't like it though if you're not a fan of Dragonforce or their style. It's fast. It's loud. Some would say it's obnoxious but I disagree. Some tracks veer a little bit off their sound like "three hammers" and it works extremely well for the. Definitely reccommend.

Little bit dissapointed about this album... had huge hopes after previous one with new vocalist but now something is missing. Not so catchy and melodic chosures anymore... hope they make a turn and get back to the "power within" sounds!
