Description:	Nelly Senff (Jördis Triebel) wartet mit ihrem kleinen Sohn (Tristan Göbel) auf den Mann, der sie über die Grenze bringen wird. Raus aus der DDR, in den Westen - die Freiheit. Kaum angekommen, wird sie dort von den alliierten Geheimdiensten durchleuchtet. Scheinbar gibt es ein paar dunkle Punkte in ihrer Vergangenheit. Doch die selbstbewusste Nelly will niemandem mehr Rechenschaft ablegen. Besonders ein US-Offizier ist beeindruckt von dieser starken Frau, die nichts weiter als ihre Freiheit will und die um ihren Stolz und ihre Würde kämpft.
