This version of A State Of Trance Yearmix 2004 comes as a 2xCD. - .. YEARMIX 20042014 two CD mix. Every year since 2004, DJ Armin van Buuren did a year mix of the biggest tunes of his radio show. Since 2005 he's released these mixes on double CD. Many people have been requesting the release of the very first one that was never released on CD. So here it is! a STATE OF TRANCE YEAR 2004! This mix was originally broadcasted on January 6th 2005. The idea was to capture the sound of 2004 in a two hour mix, based on the votes by the listeners for the Top 20 of the year. That top 20 was broadcast the week before but Armin felt a lot of really good tunes were left out! That's why the idea for a year mix was born.
