Includes bonus tracks by Red Nichols' Stompers, Red and His Big Ten, and Irving Brodsky's Orchestra. The 72-page booklet common to all three sets contains extensive liner notes by Richard Sudhalter and a complete discography. In addition to Nichols, the cream of the New York jazzmen are featured on these sides, including Jimmy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Jack Teagarden, Charlie Teagarden, Babe Russin and many others.
