Balancing a tight rope takes care and precision, but to do so from death defying heights a measure of insanity is also needed. PNC's third studio album, Man on Wire, sees the artist continue with his now signature sound of calm and crazy. The album title is inspired by the 2008 film of the same name, which documents Philippe Petit's 1974 high wire walk between the Twin Towers. "The word I wanted to convey in the title was balance,' explains PNC, "That's what I like most about the album, it has a good balance." Man on Wire is PNC's musical tight-rope walk, the perfect balance of depth and frivolity, rap and pop, madness and effortless cool.
