Description:Eloy Fritsch performs an elegant electronic music that evolves between VANGELIS' ambient & impressionist electronic, and the synthesised Progressive rock of masters such as Rick WAKEMAN or Patrick MORAZ. With "Space Music" (2000), the APOCALYPSE's Brazilian keyboards player goes into parts that are worthy of those last two virtuosos. With "Mythology" (2002), he refines his style which is more impressionist and majestic. This ambitious work justly uses the whole panel of his electronic sounds to depict fifteen tracks exclusively dedicated to the different gods worshipped in the past. The Mesopotamian, Hindu, Amerindian, Inca, African, Greek, Egyptian, Scandinavian, Roman or Chinese are outlined here by an instrumental composition. Thanks to his panoply of keyboards and computers, Eloy Fritsch has been able to free his imagination. He leads US in a very relaxing trip, in the fantastic world of mythology... The 2003 album is a great one: From the start, the well-named "Atmosphere - Electro.
Mythology is an album by electronic composer and keyboard player Eloy Fritsch. It is generally viewed as one of his stronger solo works. As with Apocalypse , Fritsch plays a variety of keyboard instruments on the album. Featured in the inside photograph are a Modular Syntheziser System-700, Minimoog Synthesizer and electronic keyboards. Mythology deals with diverse myths of the world. So several cultures were visited, including those of Brazil, the Aztecs, the Incas, Assyria, Greek, Hindu, Egyptian, Nordic, Atlantis, the Romans, the Chinese, and so on. All electronic compositions on the album were based in his own interpretation of the characteristics of each mythological element chosen for this work.
