In truth, Beethovan's biography is already "Romantic" and filled with the sturm und drang that Hollywood busily inserts into lives. Therefore, what seems like implausible fiction (dying with a thunderclap, cruel custody battles, tricks and affairs) is true, and what seems true (the identity of the immortal beloved) is speculation.
