Descripción:
2045: Die hochgradig süchtig machende Computer-Droge Tek ist allgegenwärtig. Mächtige Verbrecher, sogenannte TekLords, kontrollieren den Handel mit den gefährlichen Trips. Ex-Cop Jake Cardigan (Greg Evigan), der zu Unrecht wegen Drogenhandel und Mord verurteilt wurde, nimmt den Kampf gegen die TekLords auf. Im Dienst des mysteriösen Walter Bascom (William Shatner), der ihn aus dem Gefängnis geholt hat, arbeitet er als Ermittler für dessen Detektiv-Agentur Cosmos. Cardigan zur Seite steht sein Freund und früherer Partner Sid Gomez (Eugene Clark) sowie die schöne Sam Houston (Maria del Mar). Bald sieht sich Cardigan von mächtigen Gegnern bedroht. Polizei-Android Winger (Maurice Dean Wint) und Regierungsermittlerin Shelley Grout (Dana Brooks) würden ihn am liebsten in den Kälteschlaf zurückschicken. Und auch die TekLords nehmen die Einmischung in ihre Geschäfte nicht tatenlos hin..
