Description:Vinyl reissue of studio album by American jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Miles Davis, originally released on July 30, 1969, produced by Teo Macero. The album has been recorded in one session on February 18, 1969, at CBS 30th Street Studio in New York City. Incorporating elements of classical sonata form, Macero edited and arranged Davis's recordings from the session to produce the album. Marking the beginning of his "electric" period, In a Silent Way has been regarded by music writers as Davis's first fusion recording, following a stylistic shift toward the genre in his previous records and live performances. - NUMBERED 180GR. Deutsch Robin L. - 20/Oct/2023 5 of 5 Stars!
To be able to hear one of the greatest jazz albums of all time in this quality is only one of the biggest gifts ever. The Soundstage is immensly huge and wide although you can hear from time to time where the musicians are standing sometimes. This pressing combined with the shipping duration makes me come back for more vinyl records.
