Die Neuedition der Kurzfilme von Karl Valentin und Liesl Karlstadt Bis heute werden die Filme von Karl Valentin und Liesl Karlstadt oftmals in technisch unzulänglichen Versionen gezeigt. Denn die Negative sind meist vernichtet, der Großteil der Vorführkopien verschwunden, nahezu ein Viertel des Gesamtwerkes gilt heute als verschollen. Schon 1929 wurde per Zeitungsinserat nach Valentins Stummfilmen gesucht... Für die vorliegende Neuedition wurden sämtliche erhaltenen Kurztonfilme vom jeweils besten verfügbaren Material in HD-Qualität neu bearbeitet.
