It was this album that made me stood up and take notice. I enjoy every song included in this project. The discs were constructed of 180 gram vinyl. They were completely flat, and had absolutely no surface noise. My only question is, why only three songs per side. You get quite the workout getting up and turning over the record. An attempt was made in pressing the album in Nashville Tennessee. Absolutely terrible. The discs were thinner, Initials T.S. instead of the full name spelled out on the album jacket. Even the “1989” was in a smaller front. This is the reason why I purchase my albums overseas. “Quality.”

When she announced 1989 a few months prior to its October 2014 release, Taylor Swift called her sixth record her first "documented, official" pop album, explicitly severing herself from her country roots. Truth be told, Swift already made the leap from country to pop with 2012's Red, a nominally country LP distinguished by three songs co-written and produced by Max Martin and Shellback, a team that returns for twice that number on 1989 .

I love this album. The song "Shake it Off" had me rollin'. Sounds like my life too. Very funny and adorable. I just love the video and the videos that talk about it being made. It was so great!
