Ich hatte zuvor noch nie von Ole Borud gehört und kam erst durch Spotify auf das norwegische Ausnahmetalent. Als ich mir dort das Album Shaking the ground anhörte, wusste ich sofort,dass ich die CD unbedingt haben muss. Total frisch und locker kommen die Stücke rüber, mit tollen Arrangements und Bläsersätzen. Da ist eigentlich kein Song dabei, der irgendwie negativ aus dem Rahmen fallen würde. Funk, Soul und Jazz at their best.
