Die Interpretation der hier dargebotetenen Titel sucht seines Gleichen.
Hervorzuheben ist in meinen Augen der Abschluss des Konzerts mit "Smoke on the Water", bei dem alle anwesenden Akteure diesen Klassiker zum Besten geben.
Meines Wissens nach hat bisher noch niemand für diesen Song so viele hochkarätige Musiker auf der Bühne vereint, wie bei diesem Konzert.
Aber auch die restlichen Auftritte sind absolut sehenswert.
Die Mischung der Musiker aus verschiedenen Stilen finde ich sehr gelungen. (Brian Auger, Bruce Dickinson, Brian May, Mark King, Alfie Boe, Kerry Ellis, Alice Cooper und viele Weitere)
Auffällig ist bei der DVD, dass einige Schnitte vorhanden sind, als wäre das Konzert nicht "am Stück" aufgenommen. Vielleicht liegt das an den Bonustracks auf der DVD, die sich unter "Bonus Tracks" einzeln aufrufen lassen.
Die Schnitte stören für mich etwas den Fluss des Konzerts, man hat den Eindruck etwas zu verpassen.
Dies ist aber nur meine Meinung!
Ansonsten "Daumen hoch" für ein tolles Konzert.
Bild und Ton sind ohne Mängel.
Hört (...oder seht) mal rein, es wird sich lohnen!
