"Negative Self" es el álbum debut homónimo del grupo sueco de crossover thrash Negative Self y se presenta en formato CD bajo el sello High Roller Records. El disco ofrece una potente combinación de thrash melódico e influencias punk con guitarras llenas de energía, estribillos pegadizos y letras profundas sobre identidad y superación personal. Desde su formación en 2014, Negative Self ha destacado rápidamente dentro del circuito underground por su sonido distintivo que recuerda a bandas clásicas como Suicidal Tendencies o D.R.I., pero aportando un enfoque moderno propio del grupo sueco. Este primer trabajo fue muy bien recibido por la crítica gracias a su autenticidad y fuerza arrolladora dentro del género metálico alternativo actual. Por su parte, el sello alemán High Roller Records goza de gran prestigio internacional entre los coleccionistas por sus ediciones cuidadas y por apoyar tanto leyendas consolidadas como nuevas promesas del heavy metal mundial.
