Description:	Maurice Chevalier and Claudette Colbert light up the screen in this charming musical comedy The Smiling Lieutenant directed by Ernst Lubitsch. While on patrol, Lieutenant Nikolaus Niki von Preyn (Chevalier) winks at his beautiful love interest, Franzi (Colbert).
