They had time to kill and needs to fulfill and this venture brings Michael Rooney and Martin Rodger from 30 year veterans The Primevals together with young guns Al Hotchkiss and native American Celina Ozymandias from psychedelic garage mayhem makers Los Tentakills along with Rhod Burnett and Ady Gillespie from the super ace Nutmeg City to become The Hi-Alerts. Songs reigned in, delights were consumed, tunes quickly emerged with a hint of high tone and in shape and form - some folk have seen this as a natural collaboration between these musical anthropologists who have simply found their niche. Others have said that these songs represent a non-elitist approach to garage rock n' roll - not in the studied cool of the genre or a sanitized version. This is Sky Saxon meets Gene Krupa - not an electronic button in sight. Conjure Time moves between sonic sounding sanctification and knee deep grit - eight tunes to tune your tonsils to.
