This release marks the first time this album has been domestically available on Compact Disc, Bauhaus were a band that was as innovative as they were influential and they were undoubtedly at the forefront of the Gothic music scene that is still a force today. The band also spawned successful side projects including Love & Rockets, Tones on Tail and a solo careers for Peter Murphy and David J. This release includes nine extra tracks (on more than the UK version) taken from the bands early singles including "Dark Entries," "Terror Couple Kill Colonel" and their first cover, the T-Rex song "Telegram Sam."
