Expanded Reissue Of 1992 Album W/ Bonus Track
Description:
Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1992 album from the Soul/Pop duo featuring future solo artist Eric Benet. The album included a soulful version of the Carpenters' classic hit, "Rainy Days And Mondays." As Eric explained in an interview for the notes by A. Scott Galloway for this 2013 reissue, "We grew up loving harmony - the Carpenters always did innovative vocal things that we loved so 'Rainy Days and Mondays' was a natural choice." Notes include quotes from Eric, Lisa, George Nash Jr.. Jeff Lorber and executive producer Alison Ball Kilmer. Before Milwaukee-born singer/songwriter Eric Benet began his solo career and began his ascent to international recognition as a best-selling contemporary recording artist and performer, he was a member of this short-lived duo with his sister Lisa that was known simply as Benet. The duo released a CD on EMI Records that has become a curio collectible for fans of quality music and all curious about Eric's formative roots as a recording artist.
