This Beefheart 2xCD set is a hand numbered limited edition in special slip case with a postcard set. A total of 26 live'n'rare tracks from the Captain and his Magic bands including 14 tracks from a newly discovered live concert recording and some rare photographs and artwork relating to Captain Beefheart. The tracks are spread across the Captain's career including recordings from 1972,1973,1974,1975 and 1980.

16 tracks from the 30th Oct 1980 performance at Manchester Apollo are scrambled, out of order of the live set, over this recording. Also, 2-3 is not as titled. It is "Bat Chain Puller". 2-9 is not as titled. It is "Dropout Boogie". 2-10 is not as titled [wrong anyway, plural "Suction Prints"]. It is "Kandy Korn". The tracks titled "Abba Zabba" should be "Abba Zaba". Track 2-4 should be titled "Nowadays A Woman's Gotta Hit A Man". The London recordings are at Royal Theatre, Drury Lane, 9th June. The Portsmouth recording is at The Guildhall, 1st December and the Leicester location is Leicester University, 1st May.
