Captain's Last Live Conce by Captain Beefheart & The M, released 24 April 2006, includes the following tracks: "Nowadays A Woman's Gotta Hit A Man", "Hot Head", "Dirty Blue Gene", "Best Batch Yet" and more. This version of Captain's Last Live Conce comes as a 2xCD. - ...MAGIC BAND /...CONCERT PLUS 10 PAGE FOLDOUT

This release has a 10-page 4-fold sheet insert in full color. It has comments & quotes lifted and edited out of context from various sources. The performance is from the band's last live appearance at The Golden Bear, Huntington Beach, CA., 31st January 1981. The Beefheart comments are randomly edited, without Peel's questions, from the John Peel Radio Show, 24th April 1973. (although the insert fails to mention any of this). Track 1-4 should be fully titled: "I Wanna Find A Woman That'll Hold My Big Toe Till I Have To Go". Track 2-8 Is not particularly rare. It is a badly truncated version, without Frank Zappa's preamble comments and the 'finale' removed, taken from their duo performance in 1975 on radio KWST. A full and better quality recording exists on CD5 in the "Grow Fins" box set. There are no timings on the release.
