Description:Aqualung by Jethro Tull, released 21 May 2015, includes the following tracks: "Cheap Day Return", "Wond'ring Aloud", "My God", "Slipstream" and more. This version of Aqualung comes as a 1xCD. -
Digitally remastered and remixed by Steven Wilson. Aqualung was the fourth studio album by prog rock band Jethro Tull. Released in 1971, Aqualung, despite the band's disapproval, is regarded as a concept album featuring a central theme of "the distinction between religion and God". The album's "dour musings on faith and religion" have marked it as "one of the most cerebral albums ever to reach millions of rock listeners". Aqualung?'s success marked a turning point in the band's career, who went on to become a major radio and touring act. There's no arguing with it's commercial success, having sold more than seven million copies and continuing to outsell anything in the back catalog.

My copy of this CD has non-standard audio polarity, and I assume that all copies are the same. With the correct polarity, it sounds amazing, so if you're not impressed with it, try the other polarity. (It also helps to have a modern digital player.) To change the polarity, flip the polarity of each speaker connection, or invert the .wav file with an audio editor. The same goes for the Wilson-remastered TAAB CD, and perhaps Stand Up and others. Quite a few CD's have non-standard polarity, but changing the polarity doesn't always have a big effect.

This is excellent example of what modern technology can to to revive these old classics. Thank you Steven.
