She emerged as an actress in the late '50's, establishing herself as a household name in the US via her role as Cricket Blake in the ABC?TV?series Hawaiian Eye, concurrent with which she launched a briefly successful secondary career as a jazz-tinged pop singer. This compilation is the first comprehensive overview of Connie's early singing career, presenting the A and B-sides of her singles and the standout tracks from her four LPs. Includes her two signature million-sellers, 'Kookie, Kookie (Lend Me Your Comb)' (a duet with Edd 'Kookie' Byrnes) and the Popcorn classic 'Sixteen Reasons'.
