| Description: | Luke Jackson with new album This Family Tree contains 7 tracks. The folk and blues are still in evidence, but now he's put aside the acoustic guitar in favour of an electric one and formed a trio with former college friends Andy Sharps on bass and Connor Downs on drums, adding shades of rockabilly (especially on Misspent History) and jazz to the mix while Is It Me? has a potent soul feel. Some of the first sold copies were sent out autographed.
Thanks:
"I would like to start by thanking [a4388942] & [a4388946] for lending their talent to my music and for taking the time to join me in the studio and work with these seven songs so that we could create something together. I would also like to thank them both for their great friendship.
To all my Family & friends who support my journey, especially my Dad, Mum & Sister.
To [a4388944] for her support, endless hard work and faith in me and my music.
To [a5358726] for all her hard work & support over the years.
To [a3549652] who recorded this EP at his lovely studio. Thanks for putting up with us three and for making the songs sound great.
Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who supports my music, to those who have helped me along the way, had me play at their music nights, shared my songs with a friend, to those who have put me up, given me advice and some sort of platform.
Thank you to those who buy & believe in my music.
I will always appreciate that!"
