Description:

After it's successes in the field of German Baroque religious music, Vox Luminis presents the first complete recording of motets by the ancestors of Johann Sebastian Bach. Written mostly for double choir, these motets, filled with touching, humble and profound emotion, blend the old tradition inherited from the polyphony of the Renaissance with expressive work inspired by the fashions of the madrigal.
