Descripción:Limited 180 gm vinyl LP pressing packed in collectors bag. The soundtrack for one of the biggest Hollywood successes of the 1980s, When Harry Met Sally... consists of standards performed by singer and pianist Harry Connick, Jr.. with a big band and orchestra arranged by Marc Shaiman. The soundtrack album (which stands apart from the movie) was a big hit and a major step forward for the young pianist-vocalist. Connick warmly sings such numbers as 'It Had to Be You', 'Our Love Is Here to Stay', 'But Not for Me' and 'Let's Call the Whole Thing Off' while usually accompanied by bassist Benjamin Wolfe, drummer Jeff 'Tain' Watts, and a big band. Frank Wess' warm tenor makes a brief appearance on 'Our Love Is Here to Stay'. in addition, there are a few melodic instrumentals, including some solo Connick piano on 'Winter Wonderland' and 'Autumn in New York'. The performance of Connick on this wonderful soundtrack won him his first Grammy for Best Jazz Male Vocal Performance. The soundtrack went to #1 on the Billboard Traditional Jazz Chart and was within the top 50 on the Billboard 200., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Engineer [Chief Recording And Mixing Engineer]: Tim Geelan, Engineer [Second Recording Engineer]: Dennis Ferrante, Photography By [Harry Connick, Jr. Photo By]: David Gahr, Producer [Produced By], Mixed By, Edited By: Harry Connick, Jr., Producer [Produced By], Mixed By, Edited By: Marc Shaiman, Producer [Production Assistant]: Ann Marie Wilkins, Producer [Production Assistant]: Jeff Stott, Technician [Piano Tuner]: Donald Stromback, Arranged By [Big Band], Orchestrated By [Big Band]: Marc Shaiman, Bass: Ben Wolfe, Drums: Jeff "Tain" Watts, Piano, Vocals: Harry Connick, Jr., Written-By: Gus Kahn, Written-By: Isham Jones, Acoustic Guitar: Jay Berliner, Acoustic Guitar: Jay Berliner, Bass: Ben Wolfe, Drums: Jeff "Tain" Watts, Piano, Vocals: Harry Connick, Jr., Saxophone [Tenor]: Frank Wess, Tenor Saxophone: Frank Wess, Written-By: George & Ira Gershwin, Bass: Ben Wolfe, Drums: Jeff "Tain" Watts, Piano, Vocals: Harry Connick, Jr., Written-By: Benny Goodman, Written-By: Chick Webb, Written-By: Edgar Sampson, Arranged By [Big Band], Orchestrated By [Big Band], Piano: Marc Shaiman, Bass: Ben Wolfe, Drums: Jeff "Tain" Watts, Vocals: Harry Connick, Jr., Written-By: George & Ira Gershwin, Piano [Solo Piano]: Harry Connick, Jr., Written-By: Dick Smith (3), Written-By: Felix Bernard, Acoustic Guitar: Jay Berliner, Arranged By [Big Band], Orchestrated By [Big Band]: Marc Shaiman, Bass: Ben Wolfe, Drums: Jeff "Tain" Watts, Vocals, Piano: Harry Connick, Jr., Written-By: Bob Russell, Written-By: Duke Ellington, Piano [Solo Piano]: Harry Connick, Jr., Written-By: Vernon Duke, Arranged By [Big Band], Orchestrated By [Big Band]: Marc Shaiman, Bass: Ben Wolfe, Drums: Jeff "Tain" Watts, Vocals, Piano: Harry Connick, Jr., Written-By: Rodgers & Hart, Bass: Ben Wolfe, Drums: Jeff "Tain" Watts, Piano, Vocals: Harry Connick, Jr., Written-By: George & Ira Gershwin, Bass: Ben Wolfe, Drums: Jeff "Tain" Watts, Piano: Harry Connick, Jr., Written-By: Gus Kahn, Written-By: Isham Jones, Piano [Solo Piano], Vocals: Harry Connick, Jr., Written-By: Rodgers & Hart, Labelcode IMT2843430.1 (MOVATM024, MOVATM024), Phonographic Copyright (p) Sony Music Entertainment, Copyright (c) Sony Music Entertainment, Copyright (c) Castle Rock Entertainment, Manufactured For Sony Music Entertainment, Manufactured By Music On Vinyl B.V., Distributed By Music On Vinyl B.V., Recorded At RCA's Studio B, Mixed At CBS Studios, New York, Edited At CBS Studios, New York, Pressed By Record Industry
