| | Description: | Music On CD is proud to present the 3rd and 4th album together with the Nénette et Boni soundtrack, all three MOCD-versions include BONUS CDâ??s with material collected over the years since their formation in 1991. Curtains and Simple Pleasure both contain alternative versions and b-sides of the albums as well as original demo versions and remixes. The soundtrack of Nénnette et Boni includes Marks Moods, a unique sampler CD.
Released in 1999, Tindersticks 4th studio album, Simple Pleasure is more influenced by jazz and soul music than previous albums. This album is mesmerizing and fragile, Can we start over, CF GF, Pretty words are breathtaking. Bonus CD included is packed with original demo versions of the Simple Pleasure album and B-sides that were not released before and completes the vulnerability of this release. - =FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM + DEMO'S, BONUS & REMIXES=Deluxe two CD edition includes a bonus 12 track CD. Released in 1999, Simple Pleasure was Tindersticks' fourth studio album. Showing a different side of themselves, Simple Pleasure was much deeper, more fragile. This album is quite different from the previous ones released, but once the first notes from 'Can't we start again?' hit your ears you will l find yourself mesmerized. But be warned: Simple Pleasures is not as 'simple' as the title suggests. Listening to the lyrics you'll find that in essence Tindersticks (especially Stuart Staples) will never stray far from dark cynicism. This album is not only to be listened to, it's to be felt in your chest and leave you breathless.Recorded at RAK Studios.
