LEIPZIG IM HERBST entstand im Oktober 1989 unmittelbar vor dem Mauerfall. LETZES JAHR TITANIC erzählt von fünf Menschen im letzten Jahr der DDR und den Neuanfängen. GLAUBE LIEBE HOFFNUNG erzählt von einer Gruppe rechts- und linksradikaler Jugendlicher. GROSSE WEITE WELT kehrt nach 10 Jahren zurück den Protagonisten der früheren Filmen zurück.
