Cortar Todo by Zu, released 24 March 2015, includes the following tracks: "Cortar Todo", "Orbital Equilibria", "No Pasa Nada", "Vantablack Vomitorium" and more. This version of Cortar Todo comes as a 1xLP. The vinyl is pressed as a opaque disc. -

Vinyl LP pressing. 2015 release. Cortar Todo was recorded in the country side near Bologna, Italy, in the summer of 2014. The album features some very special guests including keyboard player Joey Karam (The Locust), Italian guitar maverick Stefano Pilia (who plays regularly with the likes of Matt Watt, David Grubbs and Rokia Traore) and perhaps most unexpectedly, a field recording of indigenous Shipibo medicine man recorded by Massimo during his travels around the Amazon. Cortar Todo reveals new dynamics from the band; the album is more direct, sharp, focused, and more intense and musical than anything we have heard from Zu so far. "... combining the abstractions of Sonic Youth with the out-there explorations of the best free jazz" - The Times.
